オランダの現代音楽作曲家、コルネリス・デ・ボントによるルネサンス期回顧プロジェクト。シェークスピアのリア王の一節が朗読されたあと、デ・ボントの「フレーム音楽」（前奏・後奏）に挟まれ、デ・ロレ、デ・モンテ、フランチェスコーニ、モンテヴェルディ、ウィールケス、ファーナビー、ジョスカンなどの作品がヒリヤード・アンサンブルによって歌われる。後半の《ブラッドII》はデ・ボント自身の作曲による組曲。呪術的な雰囲気に支配された不思議な音楽だ。
