1992年三重県津市にて結成。定期コンサートの開催や国内外のイベントに参加する他、ＣＤをリリース。海外では、第7回マルクトオーバードルフ国際室内合唱コンクール（2001ドイツ）にて、“Achievement Level II -very good performance at an international level”を受賞。第15回ヨーロッパカンタート(2003スペイン)に参加。第54回国際ポリフォニックコンテスト･イン･アレッツオ(2006イタリア)にて”ポリフォニー部門1位”を受賞。第38回フロリレージュ国際合唱コンクール(2009フランス)にて”グランプリ”・”聴衆賞”・”自由部門1位”を受賞し、第22回ヨーロピアングランプリコンクール（2010ブルガリア)に出場し、第20回受賞者記念合唱祭（2012フランス)に招待され4都市での単独ツアーを行った。第63回国際ポリフォニックコンテスト･イン･アレッツオ(2015イタリア)では、”混声部門・ロマン派部門・近現代部門1位”を受賞。国内では、宝塚国際室内合唱コンクールにて19回の金賞（グランプリ3回）、全日本合唱コンクール全国大会にて10回の金賞（文部科学大臣賞３回）、東京国際合唱コンクール金賞（2019）を受賞。津市文化奨励賞('97)、三銀ふるさと三重文化賞 ('01)、三重文化大賞 ('05)、東海テレビ文化賞('15)、地域文化功労者賞［文化庁('19)］を受賞。

Vocal Ensemble EST
Vocal Ensemble EST was founded in 1992 in Tsu city, Mie Prefecture, Japan. The chorus holds regular concerts in Japan and overseas as – namely in Guam (2000), Germany (2001), Spain (2003), Italy (2006, 2015), Taiwan (2007), France (2009), and Bulgaria (2010). And in 2012, the choir was invited to Festival des Chœurs Lauréats held in Vaison-la-Romaine, France. The major achievements of the choir are: 1st prize at the Takarazuka International Chamber Choir Contest in Japan in the year 2000, 2005 and 2007 and 2nd place at the VII International Chamber Choir Competition in Marktoberdorf, Germany. They were also awarded the Golden prize and Minister of Culture prize for being the best Japanese choir at the All Japan National Choir Competition in 2003, 2008 and 2009. The chorus also sang at the 7th World Symposium on Choral Music in Kyoto in 2005 and won 1st prizes in Polyphony category at the International Polyphonic Contest in Arezzo, Italy, in 2006 and 2015. Most notably, the chorus was the Grand winner at the 38th International Choral Competition of Florilege Vocal De Tours in France, 2009 which entitled them to the honorable participation in the European Grand Prix for choral singing in Varna, Bulgaria in 2010. In addition, the chorus won the Golden prize at Tokyo International Choir Competition in 2019.
